Hi all,I am running the PC version from the EA app via Game Pass. I seem to have an issue that I've seen reported elsewhere: with Frame Generation enabled, I will inevitably have my game lock up at a black screen when going to a loading screen. I have tried many fixes including repairing the game and running in admin mode, and I was at my wits end until I saw it suggested the culprit was Frame Generation. When I turned off FG, the issue completely vanished.Specs for what its worth:CPU: AMD 5800X38GPU: AMD 7800 XTWindows and the game are on the latest versions.

Default your PC to the dedicated Graphics card: Troubleshooting Graphics issues Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates Repair or Install the VC++ files for your game (Guide here) Restart your device in Clean Boot mode first then try again. Default your PC to the dedicated Graphics card: Troubleshooting Graphics issues

Repair your game via the EA App - Repair (Library > Tile Dots > Repair)

Clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)

Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance

Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates

If this continues would it be possible to get a DxDiag file and an EA app Error ID Number?

I legitimately meant no respect by this, but I do not feel I need to do all of that for a reproducible issue (it just happened again after I turned on Frame Generation again for the first time since last week). This has happened under the last and most current AMD drivers, Windows is up to date, my UEFI is on the latest firmware, the game is on the latest update (happened on the last update too), and other people have reported the issue. That is actually how I discovered it was the culprit in the first place.
