I live in USA can I play with my friend in Asia?

So yeah, me and my buddy wants to play this game today/tom and i'm ready to play this game. But we have one concern, can we play together online? I live in USA and he is in SEA. Will there be any problem with that?

    at least for PC, i can confirm that it will work. I was able to play with a friends from the Middle East and from the US and we both of them, we had no issues. (im based in western europe)

    Can I ask on what platform you and your friend are playing?

    I believe there shouldn't be any problem if the game is available in your countries, unless some technical issue occurs.
