It Takes Two - Can't play online co-op due to friend pass

So I've been playing with my brother on the PS5. We're gamesharing and it worked perfectly. Until I (accidentally) downloaded the friend pass. Now, when we want to invite one another to play, we both get the message "something went wrong, invite wasn't sent". I've reinstalled the game (didn't work) and tried finding the friend pass data to delete it (haven't found it), but we can't continue the game anymore. Obviously it sucks... Can't find any solutions online. Is there maybe a way to fix this?
