Experiencing the same issue, I see the notification of the invite being sent, but my friend receives nothing.
They are able to open the overlay and they do receive notification of messages I sent them through it.- EA_Illium@Hydrocloon Are you both on Xbox as well?
Hi. Im having the same issue as 100 others where we send an invite for it takes two through EA and they dont recieve it.
Both of us have checked to see that notifications are on, i have been receiving notifications from EA and also thst overlay in game is on.
We both have different specs on PC with different motherboards and all that.
How can we fix this issue that seems to have been here since 2019 without any fix from EA
@EA_Illium Yes we both have those enabled, but when we try to invite each other we see "invite sent" but it is never received on the other end.
I have the same exact issue. I have tried every possible combination of overlay settings, on, off, all, custom, invites and chat only, in game, out of game. Blocking and unblocking said friend as mentioned by other users as a workaround. I've installed and reinstalled the EA app several times. Ive completely uninstalled the game. No amount of settings adjustments changes anything. I still cannot play the game with my friend on PC (It Takes Two). We are both on PC, we have played this game together before, when we had Origin. All of this arose after we were forced to switch to the EA app. This makes it impossible to play a game that money was spent on. @EA_Illium

Hi Everyone,
Can you check your Window Settings: Settings > System > Notifications & Actions
- Make sure notifications are enabled
- Make sure EA App (might show as EA) is toggled on
- Allow Banner Notifications and Action Center notifications
- Enable play sound
- Set the number of notifications above 1 (3 or 5 should work)
- Set priority to High.
After restart the EA App and ITT on both sides, Launch the game from the host machine and check with your friends if they receive the notification, it should look like the image below.
SpoilerWill be a separate window pop-up, if EA App is not in full screen.@EA_IlliumAlready had all of these settings set to exactly as you mentioned, switched them off and back on just to be sure. completely restarted the EA app, signed in again, tried to receive invite and send invite from both ends, nothing changed. I can see popups related to anything from the app, BUT a friend inviting to play It Takes Two. I can see they are online, i can see random offers from EA pop up, but no game invites still.
