IT TAKES TWO PROBLEM WITH EA: There is a problem with your game's setup. Please
Hi everyone, my boyfriend bought It takes two on Steam and invite me to play with me. I've already dowloaded It Takes Two Friend's Pass, download EA and sign in with Steam Account. BUT WHEN HE INVITES ME TO PLAY and the noti pops up, I click accept and allow app to launch or to make change on my computer etc..., i click run the game and it always pops up "There is a problem with your game's setup. Please reinstall your game" (both appear when accept invitation from STEAM or EA)
- When I click accept and launch the game, it took 20-30s to load and the icon game appears at the taskbar but it always pops up the error
- ONLY WHEN HE INVITES THROUGH LINK ON STEAM, i can access the display of game but cannot control anything, click anything though I can click to accept on orange box to varify im a partner of this game
- Have been fixing this problem with all the solutions I could find: check d3d...43 sth, download C++, repair app, restart, reinstall game (44gb btw huhu), and try download Origin but it still cannot work.
Been hopeless for a day (my laptop is Dell with core i5 and nvidia geforce mx230, its okay to play game because i have played Toem and Ori on my lap normally before). Hope someone can help me with this problem because we in a LDR, playing game is something we can share and do together to brings us joy and happiness so i dont want to get stuck on this problem *cried cried*
Thanks everyone <333333
HI @moshigogo To confirm have we tried the steps below?
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
- EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
- Steam - Verify in your library
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Default your game to the high-performance GPU, AMD Settings | Nvidia Settings | Windows Settings
- Guide for Troubleshooting Graphics issues
- Install/Repair your VC++ files for ITT
- Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game
- Remove any over-clocking or undervolt settings or software and check if the issue continues.
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
If not can you try running through those, if the issue continues would it be possible to get a DxDiag?
Thanks!
