Multiplayer issues in Unravel 2

I am playing unravel 2 on PS4 and I’ve encountered this problem every single time I’ve started the game since it’s download. Once I am in the game and try to have my SO join as player 2 it lets them ...

    @PeytaPiper You could also try rebuilding your database to see if this is a file issue, If it is connection based can you try going through our  basic and advanced connection steps if your issue continues?

I haven’t yet because I’m worried about losing all of our data and then just losing interest in the game after that. I was hoping someone else may have encountered this issue but reinstalling is probably my last option.
