Nintendo Switch Pro Controller right stick not recognized on PC

I've tried playing the game using the Pro Controller on PC and it works fine, with one exception: the right stick control to pan the camera is completely non functional. It works fine in other games, but WIld Hearts simply refuses to deal with it. It's also not possible to remap the controls.

I tried with an old generic USB controller and it works correctly, but I'd like to use the Pro Controller. Does anyone have any idea to fix this?

    Just add another point to the seemingly endless list of problems with this game..
    I have exactly the same problem. This is such a weird problem too. Like why would everything on the controller work EXCEPT the right stick. Even clicking the right stick works. Only moving the stick does not.

    So more then half a year later, and with the full game on game pass now, I thought I could try it again. But alas, there is STILL no fix for the switch pro controller issue. Absolutely bad.
