prepare for amaterasu's return Unable to proceed quest

im korea gamer  prepare for amaterasu's return Unable to proceed quest i kill chapter3 kemono but not drop changing essence please fix bug   I can't even go back because I don't have a save file....

Same issue here.

I've killed many Kemonos in chapter 3 but 0 essence drop.

    Yeah I am currently stuck with this issue as well and Unsure why it is happening. I am gonna try again today to see if I can get around it by doing other quest but I am sure it wont work.
