prepare for amaterasu's return Unable to proceed quest

im korea gamer  prepare for amaterasu's return Unable to proceed quest i kill chapter3 kemono but not drop changing essence please fix bug   I can't even go back because I don't have a save file....

My friends and I having same issue on PS5. Anyone knows how to get this or any fix if this is a bug?

    Hi folks, thanks for the posts. 

    Just to collate data, can you confirm that you're starting hunts from the campfire, taking on Mighty Kemono (the red star ones) and not getting Changing Essence as part of the loot?

    Would anyone have a video clip of this?


    Also, to get more eyes on it, @VillNess identified a potential workaround, to join into an online Mighty Kingtusk hunt from the previous mission.

      @EA_David There is nothing to see on video, really. After hunt of any Mighty Kemono, everything is the same as usual. Just description of mission still show that 0/2 kameno have been hunt. Wayaround with doing the mission with Mighty Kingtusk again is not so easy as it sounds. To do that, you need to not just found someone who is doing that exact mission but stay with him as he hunts those 2 Mighty Kemonos. Only ding Mighty Kingtusk again is not enough - I tried that yesterday, but after success in that hunt, host just left, leaving me in point of start. It's hard to stick with random player for 3-4 missions in row.

        @9uzbudji4bf2 We usually ask for a video as it's an clear way to demonstrate the issue is as described. If anyone has one, that'd be great, but it's not the end of the world if not.

        Could I check if people had completed the previous mission (Mighty Kingtusk) solo or online, and if so, whose world was it?
        Also I'd like to check if you had ever completed the preceding mission previously in another player's world?

        @Wilhilm I'd like to grab a copy of your save files if that's ok. I've sent you a DM with details.

      I’ve tried multiple mighty hunts from the camp fire none have progressed the quest, and how are we supposed to join a previous quest online? There is no option to search for previous quests. Does anyone have a timeline on this being fixed? Cause I’m going to refund the game if it’s never going to be fixed.

        @RottenCowFetus I made it with solution metion by others. I made a quest with mighty kingtusk again and then hunt 1 other mighty kemono with the same person. Then he left me but since bug was already fixed, I kilkl another mighty kameno in my own World.

        How to choose quest with mighty kingtusk? You can't, so what you need to do is search for some open games for kingtusk. Just connect and check - most of them just be doing free roam hunts but if you lucky, you will hop to quest you are looking for. It's not so hard to find this quest but what is hard is to beg host not to leave game before you finish this one and also hunt one more mighty. In my case it cost around 6 hours od tries.
