PS4, are 2 consoles needed?

If i want to play this on my PS4 with my partner. Do we need 2 consoles? or can we both play on the same console via split screen?

    No problem my friend.
    If I remember correctly you can both play the first chapter for free without having to purchase the game. Worth trying before you buy 🙂

The entire game is split screen and can only be played with two people.

But to answer your question, the game has local co-op so you can both play the game on the same console with split screen.

I will add the game is tons of fun, I have enjoyed it so far. 🙂

@CarbonCarl thank you for your reply. It has helped alot. I've been watching alot of the game on Twitch and really want to try it. You answer has helped alot.
