Re: my friend can't join my lobby

Hey all, a couple of things that you can try if experiencing this issue.

You may run into an issue if you or your friend is playing on IPv4 and the other is on IPV6, and vice versa. 

If on Xbox please ensure that you both have Xbox Live and you have your account set to Adult Default. Also, please ensure that you are playing on your home console. 

If you are playing on PS4 then please check that you have PS+.

If on PC can you ensure that you are allowing the game to access the internet, you can try disabling your anti-virus and firewall to test.

    How you can choose of using IPV6 or IPV4?  I dont see that option... on my xbox  I have the same problem that my friend cant join me

    These are all BS fixes! I'm on Xbox and I shouldn't have to be on my home Xbox, as long as I'm signed into my account I should be able to play any game I own... Oh wait I can except for this game typical EA just doesn't care for the gamer only their pockets. If this is not fixed by mid next week I will get a refund as I've had A Way Out since launch and I haven't even had 30 sec of gameplay!😡 THIS IS BAD BUISNESS👎👎

    Me and my Friend are on Xbox. Je bought the game and when je tries to invite me i am in An endless loading screen. We are Both adults and have Xbox live. Please have a professional look into this and not a forum admin.

    I'm playing on Xbox as well and have done all recommended trouble shooting steps from both EA as well as players. My friend and I still can not connect to each other. Is this issue being looked into? Their twitter has gone silent since the launch of the game.

    @EA_Darko Me and my friend are both on IPv4 & IPv6, which as far as I'm aware means that both IPV4 & IPv6 can be used?

    Is this the only fix coming for this? As getting out an old router and setting it up isn't possible for me my only other option will be to wait for a patch if this is the issue responsible. Will there be a patch to fix this for those of us without an old router?

    I can confirm after everything else failed, I for bf the issue. You both need to be on IP4 internet, that is the only option and what worked for me.

    What about those of us who can't disable IPv6 on the router and don't have an old IPv4 one laying about?

    Is there a patch being worked on for this?
