Me and my friend figured it out on our own we think lol, * the nahimic * couldn’t find that either, here’s what we do, might work for you might not.
Steps to follow:
1) Make sure you have a steam account and EA account.
2) Both people playing make sure steam and the EA app are logged into and open.
3) Make sure you’re friends on the EA app so you can invite each other in game.
4) The person who owns the game will open it through the EA app.
5) When the game is opening you should see a pop up from EA saying press shift F1 for social whatever. You don’t need to press that.
6) The person who owns the game and that will host the match clicks on play multiplayer, the friend who is awaiting the invite can open the game through EA as well and just waits at the home page.
7) create the game or continue the game, whichever you choose then you’ll see the invite friend ( keep in mind if you see your friends name pop up at the bottom right of your screen saying so and so has logged on then that’s a real good sign it’ll work!)
8) invite the friend you select from your friends page AND if at the bottom right of your screen it says invite sent then it works!! If not then I’m sorry and it must be something else lol BUT after hours and hours of us * around this has worked every time for us, also if it doesn’t work try restarting your computer and try again, that seems to help too, BEST OF LUCK!
