Rocketbot Attack is Fun!

I played Arena and Ranked heavily the first week.  After an extensive run of Rocketball match after Rocketball match, I started to play around with private servers against rocketbots.  And then I remembered, there is an online mode for this!

I've been playing this mode almost exclusively the last few days.  It's a great way to experiment with characters and playstyles.  My favorite moment was jumping in the way of a rocket barrage to protect a low level Boone who was still trying to figure out his kit.

Anyone else enjoying Rocketbot Attack?

    I personally have seen decent few people in the Discord that are enjoying it. I haven't actually done too much in Rocketbot attack myself, but I do agree with you that it, as well as private matches are a great way to play around with new heroes and get more comfortable with them.

    @kapkarrot Not me. Played the private one twice or thrice and it was boring. Even on extreme the rocketbots were quite easy and far too predictable to be used as a way of countering human players.

    So I'll likely never play 'real' rocketbot, I'd rather play knockout. Tbh I totally forgot that there was an online rocketbot mode...

    @kapkarrot I enjoy rocketbot attack just not with teammates who stay still and hide the whole game doing nothing just to get xp

    I've been enjoying rocketbot attack online but last night one match had exactly what you point out @thotress , the two players on my team just hid and I was unable to get all 30 bots defeated solo so it was a loss, which was annoying as my weekly is to get 25 wins. They were both randomly shooting (one presumes to keep from being AFk kicked, if that's a thing here), but didn't do anything useful. I did lead the bots towards them to try to get them to do something but it didn't work out and I had them down to 9 tickets solo. That was frustrating.
