Ok. Thanks for clearing that up. Can you share more information please? For example, what are you trying in the game to animate the glyph?
In your game, what button does it recommend you hold down when aiming at the green glyph on the statue? Can you upload a screenshot of the instructions the appear in the game for you, please?

EA QV Team@LynnePins I may have seen this once before. You pick up the green sigil (stormshards), defeat the 3 enemies that spawn, then Kirkan says "This altar grants you the animate spell", you pick up the spell from the alter, and then you're able to animate the statue. Does Kirkan say the line and were you able to pick up the spell? In any case I've forwarded this to the team to investigate further, and any additional information you can provide would help.
You're about 40 minutes into the game at that point, so it might be worth trying to start a new save to see if that works as well.
