FIXED!
I did two things and now it is fixed.
1) in EA App go to Top left 3 lines, click help - App recovery - clear cache.
2) in Steam, right click Wild Hearts, properties, local files, verify game files
Same issue. I have EA Play Pro, but also own the game on steam. The game cannot launch via Steam, only via EA App. I want to play via Steam, not EA Play Pro but the EA App doesn't recognize that the game is owned by Steam.
Not working for me, still saying it is purchased by another account.
How to fix? Tried all steps, not working...

@DeadlyDonut90 This is an account mixup error, you're logging into the EA app using an account that's not linked to your Steam.
If you log out then go to EA.com you can log in with a Steam option.
You can then go to https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/aboutme to see which EA account is actually linked to that steam one, and from here you can make any changes needed to get back into that EA account on the EA app.I do log in with my linked account, it is still not working.
