No response? No status update?
Guess its a refund then.
No substantial update, sorry. We've referred the report IDs to the studio/included in the appropriate ticket, but I don't have anything else to share at this time.

Hi @EA_David ,
I start thinking this has something to do with some Windows update.
I have not played for some weeks on my PC due to work, and the first game I wanted to play after that time was Wild Hearts. It would just not launch, and I tried everything I could, It was always this 0xc0000409 error that you can only find in the dxdiag log or in the event viewer of windows. I then tried some other games, and they worked fine, but when I installed Hogwarts legacy it had the exact same problem as Wild Hears and Battlefield 2042 too it just does not launch without an error and I could find 0xc0000409 in the event viewer.
So I completely wiped my drive and installed win10 (had win11 previously) from scratch via a USB stick installed steam, EA App, Wild Hearts and Hogwarts legacy and both games run now just fine. Not an elegant way to fix this, but at least I can play now (: - 3 years ago
That's not my issue, every other game i have is working fine.
It is only Wild Hearts that is not connecting, it still says i did install it on different account than i purchased it on.
It's a weird bug with Ea and Steam, it does not connect properly.

Yeah I'm in the same situation. I was able to get around it by using the origin app but today it forces me to use the ea app.
