@Deejay1300 Hey, so try the following steps here, this helped a lot of people play via Steam and the EA App, Hopefully, that works for you as well.
Workaround
Try removing the Steam game from the library and then cleaning EA App Cache. ea app for some reason won't see you own the game, and allow you to run the trial. After that, if you restore the game in the Steam app, it should resolve it for you.
Steps for the above
On your Steam Menu, top left > go to Help > Steam Support > Wild Hearts > I want to perma remove this game from my account > Standard edition > Ok
remove the listed game perma (you can restore after) > Then you have to go to the EA App download > 3 lines top left corner > Help > App Recovery > clear cache > reboot the app
Then launch the game on Steam and it should boot up. You will need to keep the game disabled in order to play via EA Play only up to the Minato Gate.
If you restore the game and close the EA App, It will error again. unfortunately, you cannot go past the Minato gate until it's resolved.
To restore, go to Help - Wild Hearts - I don't see my game in my library - restore.
If this method works, will I still be able to continue from my "save" point or will I have to totally restart come launch day ?
