I agree it's frustrating we don't have a statement from EA, but I imagine the problem is two-fold.
For those who haven't scrolled back to see it, Microsoft is currently investigating the issue as the only thing as a community we've been able to identify and report is that the Product ID for the deluxe edition we pre-ordered doesn't match the product ID currently in the Xbos store. This was verified by Microsoft's customer support and escalated for further investigation (can't expect customer service to have access or means to resolve something like this) and whether that fixes the issue or not, a larger company like EA and Microsoft have more processes and hoops to jump through to resolve things like this.
Additionally, EA is probably more focused on resolving the performance issues mostly reported from users on PC. None of us know exactly how much support they have where, but if it's all hands on deck, that would make more sense to prioritize.
Either way, I'm just as frustrated as everyone else here to spend extra and have no access to said content or a statement by now, but it's ultimately out of our hands for now. If you want to speak with your wallet, you can call to get a refund from Microsoft and buy the standard addition as the game still plays great on Xbox and has been a fun alternative to Monster Hunter. Otherwise, the rest is currently out of our hands while we wait.
