@CDJSlayer06, ah, now I get you.

When buying EA Play via Steam, you can only claim games that are available for EA Play for Steam. It doesn't work for Origin/EA app, if you have EA Play for Steam. Same with EA Play for Origin/EA app, it doesn't work for Steam. Those are considered separate platforms.

Unfortunately I am facing the same issue, I purchased EA play through steam, downloaded FIFA 23 from steam and launched it from steam which them prompted the download of EA app. After logging in with my EA account and linking both Steam Account and EA account the game stops after the first choice made in game, and gives an error message that my EA play subscription is over.
