Refund For EA Play Pro
I took out a subscription to EA Play Pro on the 10th of October to play Battlefield 6, I found out pretty quickly that it does not run well on my PC and I rather buy it on the PlayStation which I have now done and it runs much better. My issue comes from receiving a refund for the EA Play Pro subscription which I cancelled on the same day as I took it out, despite doing this it says it’ll renew in November and have still charged me £16.99, as stated on the EA website and UK consumer law as this was cancelled well within the 14 day cooling off period a full refund must be provided, have have raised number of support cases and have been told this is impossible via the support chat, considering it’s almost impossible to find the chat system and the waiting times are over 30 minutes and you can’t close the app or sleep the device, which is ludicrous btw, I feel this is the only option now. I see multiple people complaining about the same issue. Basically while trying to pay for EA Play PRO monthly, it said it failed but it was charged from my account, and subscription is not active. In account management, when i check order history, it says that subscription failed, but i still got charged. Anyone got help with any of this? Is there a solution i can try? Reached out to EA Help on twitter, no reply. Did a "ticket" on help page, but no reply of any kind. Not even sure that it went through, and no option for a live chat with support (tried via VPN from USA as well, no luck). Any help would be appreciated. I've recently purchased the Xbox Game Pass (essential) on PC. In theory it includes EA Play access. However, when I go to (for example) FC25 on the xbox app, the 'Install' button appears, as if I have access. Whenever I click on it, it opens the EA app, which then only shows the possibility of purchasing the game or purchasing the EA Play subscription. I've triad a myriad of things from searching the internet, including signing out of all accounts and restarting the apps, as well as unlinking my Xbox account and my EA account and then restarting my apps. I have an ongoing case about my EA Play Pro subscription that was cancelled without my consent. It says that it is waiting for me in the status section but it does not connect me to live support. I want to continue with my membreship with the said price. The emails that are sent to me are in the picture. One is belonging to year 2024, on that year, my subscription was succesful and I was a EA Play Pro member for the whole year, so don't mind that it says EA Play on the mails. You can check my membership status if possible to see I was a Pro member, and you can also see that I played FC 25 with it, which was not available to the regular EA Play members at the time. Plus, I already bought some FC Points because I thought that my membership would go on as promised. And I cannot connect to live chat to continue my case, so I am seeking help here. I’ve been trying to subscribe to EA Play Pro for days now and EA just won’t let me. First, I couldn’t even link my credit card for 3 days straight. When I finally got that sorted and tried to purchase the subscription, I got this error: "That didn’t work, let’s try again. If the problem persists you may want to use a different payment method or try again later." Well, the problem definitely persists. I’ve tried multiple times, waited, retried — same thing every time. I contacted EA support twice already, and absolutely nothing has been done to fix this. I just want to pay for the subscription and play, but EA’s system won’t even let me give them money. I recently canceled my EA Play subscription, but I noticed that a payment was still charged to my card afterward. Currently, I’m away from my computer and only have access through my mobile device, so I wanted to report this issue here. Before canceling, I read the information about the 14-day refund policy applicable to Turkey, which states that if the subscription is canceled within 14 days without using any membership benefits, a full refund can be requested.
