EA Play Pro did not expire on expiration date
This might be a one of if not the weirdest thing that happened to me. So my EA Play Pro subscription should have ended on the 14th of January and since I wasn't able to renew it due to not having money for it, I tought I'll let it expire and I'll resub to EA Play Pro whenever I have money for it. But for some reason, it is still active on the 16th of January, and whenever I check if my subscription ended, it still says that it'll end on the 14th of Jan. (shown on the picture atteched below). Whenever I tried to manually cancel the subscpription or renew it, nether of these worked, and it still says that my EA Play Pro is active and it'll renew on the 14th of Jan. which I really can't understand how it's happening. I am asking everyone, including mods or devs to help me in this case because I really don't want to get my account banned because of something that's not my fault, at least I think it's not my fault. The only thing I can think of, what could be the reason of this huge bug is that I used a credit card that's no longer useable due to certain circumstances, and I only changed the card today so that way it can bill me for the next month of EA Play Pro. My EA Play Pro was expiring today and I clicked to reactivate only to be met with "Problem with this request, try again in few minutes" Tried multiple times to no avail. Contacted live support which didnt say anything but "try a different payment method". I have one account and one card I use, I literally used it two days ago to buy FC Points with no issue. Linking my son's account to mine. My son is unable to login to his EA Play account from his Xbox game pass for PC account. When trying to login, it takes him to the app but everything is blank. When I log out and back in, it says it sent an email to my email address (address is correct) but I don't get the emails. Not in my spam folder either. I can login to my EA Play account, I get verification emails fine, just not getting his. If I "Resend the verification email" it says the email isn't verified. - Changed the parental email address - no emails to that address either - Changed back to original email - no emails sent - Spent an hour going in circles with the online EA Help agent (Dhruv) - After they couldn't get me successfully logged in, they told me to clear my IE cache (even after I told them I'm not using IE, they kept just sending links to IE troubleshooting steps)...Eventually they told me to "return after 90 min due to some glitch we face issue with verification codes" - Tried logging in to sons account with his EA ID and password - wouldn't accept the password - Reset the password - still unable to login - Agent asked me to login with his EA ID and my parental account password - same result Since I'm currently in a loop with the agent simply telling me to wait 90 min, is there anything else that might actually fix this?753Views0likes7CommentsCan´t download games with EA play even though I have Xbox game pass
I currently have an xbox game pass pc subscription, where I should be able to get EA play, but when I try to download games it takes me to the EA app, but it only appears the options to buy the game or subscribe to EA play, even though I have the game pass and my Xbox account is properly linked to my EA account. I’ve been trying to subscribe to EA Play Pro for days now and EA just won’t let me. First, I couldn’t even link my credit card for 3 days straight. When I finally got that sorted and tried to purchase the subscription, I got this error: "That didn’t work, let’s try again. If the problem persists you may want to use a different payment method or try again later." Well, the problem definitely persists. I’ve tried multiple times, waited, retried — same thing every time. I contacted EA support twice already, and absolutely nothing has been done to fix this. I just want to pay for the subscription and play, but EA’s system won’t even let me give them money.
