EA Play is not available for Mac - How to download The Sims 4 and DLC

Hi. I've followed the instructions and made sure I don't have an active subscription, but there is still no option for me to buy/download the game. I get to the screen that says "Choose your edition" at the top, but there are no editions listed and the only clickable button on the entire page says "Join EA play" -- which takes me directly back to the previous screen.
