I have the same issue. Have not changed regions and it's 10AM in my region at the moment. Got thru the intro video, and when trying to connect to servers - it gives "your trial has expired". I have not gotten into the menus even.
Have you tried re-installing the game? I’m doing that now to see if it will fix but got a feeling it’s an issue with the EA Play trial itself than the game but worth a shot. I’ve contacted EA help directly so will let you know what they say when I get their answers.

I have talked with an assistant but she cannot says how many time it will take to fix
- @TUTTIDIECII Probably take them 7 days so when we all get the game. I’ll be asking for a refund on my EA Play subscription if that’s the case. This is beyond a joke.
