I can’t say I’ve had the same issue.
You can find DA2 here on Origin:
https://www.origin.com/gbr/en-us/store/dragon-age/dragon-age-ii/interstitial
And here on Steam:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1238040/Dragon_Age_II/
And the Microsoft store:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/p/dragon-age-2/c4g76555t4qn?activetab=pivot:overviewtab
It’s currently 60% off on Origin and Steam.
Let me know if those links work for you my friend. - @CarbonCarl It should be on ea play, right?
On Xbox I can't find it, ms store or ea play, it's very weird.
The only thing that pops up are add-ons for the game, item pack and so on. - CarbonCarl5 years agoHero (Retired)@rafaptrs Yeh it is on EA Play for sure.
If you press the Xbox button on your controller and then click the magnifying glass to search, type Dragon Age 2 and the game should come up and allow you to play/buy etc.
It's down as an Xbox 360 game.
Oh and just to add, search Dragon Age 2 not Dragon Age II.
Try that bud. - @CarbonCarl Already tried before coming here, doesn't work at all. Tried both ways 2 and II, it's odd. Origins and inquisition works just fine.

That is super strange, is your Xbox all up to date etc?
I don't think having gold should matter either but you have that too right? - CarbonCarl5 years agoHero (Retired)@rafaptrs Oh another thing, are you on any Xbox sub or child account?
- @CarbonCarl Its Xbox fat, but it's all up to date, having no issues with my account (main account), I have regular gamepass and gold.
For example, if I open ea vault or my library > EA games, only origins and inquisition is there, not 2.
Microsoft store is the same. @CarbonCarlOk, good news and bad news.
It just appeared on ea playlist (vault), after I re-installed again.
However, when I click to install, download fails and asks me to buy in the store, once I'm there I can't install, only available for purchase.
Frustrating.- CarbonCarl5 years agoHero (Retired)
Try a full reboot by turning off your Xbox and unplugging the power cable for a few mins.
If that doesn't work you could try a full reset by going to Settings>System>Console Info>Reset Console>Reset and keep my games and apps.
Also if you find it on the Microsoft store on a PC using the link in my first post, sign in and you should be able to download it to your devices, give those a try.
