Hey @papadumcrow, when this error pops up can you open your task manager and check to see if the other is running in the background.

Yeah, I have the same issue. I've tried everything. I have uninstalled both, now my games don't run without reinstalling BOTH. I shut both down through task manager and ran my games through steam........same error. If you guys can't resolve this for the people who consistently buy the $100+ packages for games and get super stoked for what you guys release, then people (myself very soon included), will never support you and your errors again. I know whoever is answering this probably has no say, and I'm not mad at you, but I am pissed I waited this long for Battlefield, bought a new PC strictly for this game to run, and paid over $100 for the game, and can't run it due to a BS error. I just spent thousands for this game for nothing. Please help me out and make this right.

EA SPORTS FC™ Team
Hi @Player_pi8g0bg1,
I get to see this error message quite often too, but that's because Origin automatically starts when I boot up my PC. That means that I cannot open the EA app as Origin has already started.
Make sure that you close down the other app as you cannot have both Origin and the EA app running at the same time. As Darko said, this is something that you can do through the Task Manager, or just head over to your taskbar, click on the EA app or Origin (whichever is running) and press ALT+F4.

I tried that to no avail. I just uninstalled both and let steam take the reins on this one.
- 4 years ago@EA_Darko i checked this but there wasn't any Ea Play or Origin running, and they still cause conflict
