Re: Did EA stop

Let's break this down. I pay X amount every 3 months for Xbox Game Pass and EA Play. One adds new games every month. Another one doesn't and cost the same as the other service. Great value for your money to get year old games and only a hand full of releases. 

The cost of games is almost irrelevant as GOG, Humble Bumble, Fanatical, Steam, etc. Have game for sale all the time. 

Let's look at PS Now for PC, it currently at $5 month. You know what else. Every month, PlayStation adds a few new titles to its PS Now streaming service.

Someone is pilfering and just barely putting out content to look like a streaming service. Ask yourself this how would you feel if you had Hulu, Netflix, etc. and they only added a couple movies or a couple TV show yearly instead of monthly.

Seriously re-read what you wrote. Value for money and it doesn't matter if other offer more. Wouldn't that be a better value? Or is less a better value? Not all gaming services have a console either. Like Humble Choice, Stadia, Amazon, and Utomik are all non-console based gaming subscription services. All of them offer monthly updates to the library and some offer free games as well. What is a better value you can pay the same and get more games and more frequently or you could pay a little more and also get free games along with the bigger library including EA games and new games to play and try monthly.
  

Math time that $60 a year for EA Play. You could get 8 to 10 if not close to a dozen EA games in a year as well you own them. You can play multiple EA games and own them for the same price. It isn't like EA is adding a bunch of games either. I literally have seen the same games on there for years, I am talking about 4+ years. So 14 new games in a year or their game library isn't something they should toot their own horn on as being a value or a great product especially you can get close to if not the same amount of different EA game each year and own them for the same price.

 

You are blinded by your obsession with EA and fail to see any facts. If you chose not to understand gaming subscription services and know what value means that is on you. I have said my last 2 cents.
