Let's break this down. I pay X amount every 3 months for Xbox Game Pass and EA Play. One adds new games every month. Another one doesn't and cost the same as the other service. Great value for your money to get year old games and only a hand full of releases.
The cost of games is almost irrelevant as GOG, Humble Bumble, Fanatical, Steam, etc. Have game for sale all the time.
Let's look at PS Now for PC, it currently at $5 month. You know what else. Every month, PlayStation adds a few new titles to its PS Now streaming service.
Someone is pilfering and just barely putting out content to look like a streaming service. Ask yourself this how would you feel if you had Hulu, Netflix, etc. and they only added a couple movies or a couple TV show yearly instead of monthly.
