did you purchase an EA Play subscription for the Playstation specifically? If you buy the subscription through the EA app, as example, it will only be for that specific platform, and no others.

so because I subscribed on my laptop (not good enough to play games on) because it was easier it means I can’t use it for my PlayStation?

If you made a subscription through the website, then you should be able to use it there, and it means there's some kind of technical issue. However, if you signed up through the EA app, then the subscription is only for the EA app as they are platform specific and only apply to one platform, not all of them.
