Wreckfest asking for admin rights and won't launch after giving it.

Just recently downloaded the EA Play Beta and I've subscribed to the EA Play Pro. Then, I downloaded Wreckfest, it's asking me for administration rights and when I give it, it's telling me that the game failed to launch. I've also gave it admin rights and that didn't resolve anything at all.

I am on *snip* and I have a 9900K & RTX 3080 with 32 GB of RAM just in case that's needed.

EDIT by EA_Jason: Removed mention of modded OS.

  • What I actually ended up doing was uninstall EA Play and installed Origin and that worked perfectly.

    Hi @GH0ST0621,

I have seen this happen in the past and there are a few things that you can do to try to fix this:

    • Create a new Administrator account on Windows and log into that account.
    • Launch the EA app and Wreckfest as an administrator.
    • Press OK when you see the pop-up.

Please give it a go and let me know if this works for you.

  • What I actually ended up doing was uninstall EA Play and installed Origin and that worked perfectly.
