Only the invited account can play, after redeeming the code. It won't work on a secondary account.
You can check if you are eligible for a replacement code.
The EA staff on EA Forums can't issue a new code for you, sorry.

If you're unable to access the email address associated with your EA account, it'd be best to contact our live support team to update the account information and regain access to that account.
