Player career 

Absolutely gutted at this nonsense again, why are there perks in a football game ??? and secondly locked behind some silly heartbeat maverick and virtusso rubbish..  Absolutely kills the game and immersion . Whoever came up with this should be sacked for pure nonsense.  Imagine mbappe not being able to play with flair due to him not having enough maverick points 😭 .  The objective based contracts are shocking and so unrealistic and unreasonable. Ive seen many people call this out and its never addressed .You added player agents and they do nothing in this mode apart from becoming frustrating with childish messages consistently . Such a simple process would be the option to be able to send your agent to a team and let them know your keen on joining them and from then contract negotiations could start from there if interested, with this current method you can score 50 goals a season but if you don't hit the 7 outside the box goals they are not interested honestly who came up with this its embarrassing. Its an offline player career it shouldn't be so grinding to be able to move to a bigger team as your progress your overall rating . My honest opinion is this mode is massively overlooked by developers and not cared about whatsoever.  The mode itself has received no changes this year atall meaning another year of just not playing this mode because what should be a fun immersion exploding experience becomes a dull frustrating one . 

Player career gets a big 1 out of 10 for me and that's being generous .

Career mode

FYI im 37 and been playing fc (fifa) since ps1 my 1st game was the 1st fifa on ps1 , im addicted to it because I love it so much id like to think for time played im in the top 10% of the world . Ive played every single game since then and play near enough every evening . 

The biggest change (only changes) is to the transfer market , im actually a big fan of the newer options incorporated into negotiations this year , I feel they are more realistic in terms of real life negotiations and this is a much better experience , there are still a few things that don't work and  if negotiations are on strict and realistic then you can't negotiate with any rival teams in the real world this isn't true , for example I was man united and wanted to buy santos from chelsea but absolutely no chance due to chelsea not willing to negotiate and this is poor , united and chelsea have always done transfers from one and another 🤣 uniteds 2 teams they never do business with is Liverpool and man city . This needs fine tuning because my honest opinion is having an option of teams that you can pick to never do business with i.e for a untied Career I would pick both those clubs to never buy or sell from but leaving me open to negotiate with the rest of the league . Let us choose not you .... I do know I could put negotiations on light and loose but im worried this would lead to transfers going silly . The new dynamic potential causes me abit of confusion now leading me to not understand what a players actual overall and potential is , this didn't really need changing and im not sure why it did . 

What the Career mode players really wanted :

1. The biggest downfall of Career mode is the kits I mean imagine offering a 15 year career mode but using the same kits for 15 seasons this is absolutely shocking for an offline mode , the ability to edit things up at the start of a new season would be game changing , even a system with contracts for different shirt sponsors and shirt manufacturers would elevate this mode 10 fold, changing designs and colours at will and the option to change socks and shorts to stop kit clashing needs addressing now ! Any immersion or realism is killed after one season leaving the game mode lacking 😴 . If this is a licensing issue than im very confused as to why  companies really care that much that people are mixing shirt sponsors and shirt manufacturers for their offline career mode enjoyment . The consumer is the only one suffering because of this . Please fix this issue and give your loyal fan base a proper career mode.

2. Youth academy 

Football manager already has full academics filled with real players so im very confused to why you can't do the same? Your the biggest football game in the world but we have to use the worse generic players you could imagine, shame on you .  This is honestly unforgivable to me .

3. U21 leagues 

Why add silly lil tournaments and not just add an u21 league . If you fill the academics with real players this could flourish for you , imagine building up a player in the u21s and finally bringing them in for the 1st team for the cup games or pre season this is the kind of stuff career mode players dream of , how has this never occurred to you , a career mode is a place to get lost and float away from everyday troubles and this kind of stuff is what the people want . Please give the peolple what they want .

4. A trophy room to look at all the trophies you won , this should also be added to player career for man of the match awards and medals .

Overall im really disappointed with this beta , I feel like once again the bare minimal has been done to either career modes its almost like you don't care in my opinion 🙃, career mode is what made you what you are before you started the shocking ultimate team pack buying money machine . You've lost your passion and pride in making football games and instead seem more worried about people buying points and packs and its such a shame . I was forced to play this new mode called the ground and its almost like playing fortnite , surley this mode is aimed at kids its actually disgusting to see in a football game and embarrassing.  Running around a fictional map playing mini games is not what people wanted and this mode will be short lived.  I feel you spent all the developer time on this mode and just left behind your ethics to what football fans want , we don't want this nonsense we want realism and a great gameplay . 

I live 10 minutes away from your guidford based headquarters, id love to sit down and discuss how this game could literally be the best football experience ever . Sack your career mode thinkers and hire me within 2 years you will be applauded for releasing  games made with love for football again.
