This issue has been happening for the past couple releases of FC, but is now happening a lot quicker while playing the beta. This seems to happen to a lot of other people and hoping that this can be solved in this addition post-beta.
This does not happen on any other game on my console or other EA release and I don’t expect this to be primarily a hardware issue.
Community ManagerIf your console is overheating while playing, it will protect itself by shutting down. You can know it is definitely overheating if you have to unplug the power cable and reconnect it before restarting the PS5. I personally had this issue in the past and got a can of compressed air (held vertically so no liquid comes out) and blasted the dust/lint away from the fan and as far into the heatsinks as I could. If you are not comfortable with this, you could look into getting the console professionally cleaned.
