now with screenshots
standard profiles from the game and my own controller profile, on the left you can see the fanatec control panel to compare the pedal pressure
now the standard profile selected for the pedals - key test ! the pedal pressure matches 1:1 !
own control profile - key test !
you can clearly see that I am on 50% brake in the fanatec control panel (and on the brake) and nothing is moving in the game !
it would be no problem to use the default profiles - but I want to have my clutch e.g. on the steering wheel (second paddles) - and as soon as I change something in the default profile, I can only save it under my "own control scheme" and then the "game" starts all over again, controller deadzones are not correct ! I hope that it is now clear what is meant.
all other calibration settings and FF settings are identical in this comparison - so the settings cannot be assumed to be an error!
the next test is then in the game (default profile) - if I roll slowly with the car and tap the brake lightly, the car slows down !
own profile - the car rolls on without braking!
it could be that it is somehow due to my system - but where should I look for the error now when everything works normally in ACC, AC, iRacing, rFactor2, etc. and the phenomenon only exists in F1 23 (and this since the update, since my own control profiles have been deleted) !!!
short addition - it only seems to affect the "load cell" pedals (at least for me) - because if I configure the clutch pedal as a brake pedal (for test purposes) the dead zone is correct again !
