Their voices had much more influences than small potato like you and me writing essay on this forum.

All anyone needs to remember is this:EA does not care whether you like the game. They don't care whether they release it with stupidly obvious bugs such as the red flag issue, or the tyre strategy bug from last year still being present.All they care about, is whether or not you'll purchase the game. You can hate yourself for buying it later, you can come here and complain all you want. If you'll buy it next year, then nothing you say matters. All you are is a transaction to them - how little effort can be put into the game and still keep people buying it.You want this stuff fixed? You want people held accountable for bugs in the game which have no business making it out of QA?Stop buying the product.

MyTeam didn't received any update since 2021 (which was supposed to be the team that worked on Braking Point as you described), Career was even worse, it's literally a stripped down and abandoned game mode since 2020.I would be okay if they actually have two teams working on different things each year, but instead there was nothing done at all, they even consistently brought in new issues from the supposed-to-be copy and paste contents for 3 straight years.

The truth is that EA has done a lot of work content wise, like story mode and a brand new mode. We can say we like it or not, but cannot deny the immense work done, content wise, in a yearly release game.We can say it isn't well balanced, or not agree on some game design choices, but there is no way we can say they haven't done a lot, content wise.Pretending to have also a new career, is simply not feasible.The other truth is Aarava mainly looks at his own preference, and doesn't care about anything else. Since all he does is my team stuff, then all he looks for is my team.But if EA chose to implement other stuff first we can't blame them.Sorry but, I just don't like who only sees things from just one side.

@Meza994 @Meza994 What I hate is that they removed certain things from the old games. They used to show what your upgrades did back in the day. I'm quite certain at least that when you did a weight upgrade it would say you reduced the weight of the car by x amount, increased downforce by x percentage and so on. (I don't remember which game they removed this)Now we have very little information on where the car is and how big an upgrade actually is. In certain teams it's much better to upgrade the drag rather than downforce because the drag upgrades give you a bigger increase for the same price or vice versa for other teams.I also hate how they lock certain teams into terrible upgrade paths that make the car really bad to drive and basically make it underperform until fully upgraded like the Aston Martin car from last year that had a Ultimate rear downforce upgrade really early in the tree that locks you out from rear downforce upgrades and makes the car really bad to drive.You can sort of fix this yourself with setups but it screws your teammate and means even verstappen could not perform to where the car was in the performance chart. While the mclaren car had a really good upgrade tree that seems to have any AI driver be able to drive well in that team even with bad driver ratings. (And from what I've seen in this years game so far it's exactly the same were certain teams have much more favorable upgrade trees.)I wish we could see a performance chart for each area rather than just chassis, aero and engine as a whole. In real life the teams have to inform FIA of all the upgrades they put on the car so I think this would be fair for the game to reflect that somewhat.Like who have the lowest weight, lowest drag profile, most downforce, best engine, best ERS and so on.The game just lack a lot of information, just like we still don't have speed trap list, that can't be so hard to implement. All you can do is go onboard and watch every AI car to see their speed to know who's fast in the straights. I know you can see speedtrap of cars if you spectate the AI in qualifying but yeah...why not just give us a speedtrap list?And yeah like you said the upgrade tree is still exactly the same just invisible and even harder to know how to unlock certain upgrades. I don't like the way they remove my freedom to upgrade the car how I want. If I basically want a Williams car that is really fast in the straight but bad in the corners that is really hard to achieve because you often have to upgrade a certain downforce upgrade before being able to reduce drag again.Is that realistic maybe, is it fun not really. Some upgrades being locked because of not having the required facilities I have no problem with, but locking us into very set paths for how the car is upgraded is what I dont like.

@ImpartialCross06 I dont remember the upgrades ever telling you what exactly they changed in terms of percentage etc. since 2017.. Might have not seen it thoughI know your problems with the system, its really far from ideal.. Seeing the performance for each subarea would be nice but in theory its always just pure guesswork IRL even teams informing the FIA about upgrades doesnt give them any indication of how effective these updates are.. IMO the performance chart shouldnt even be this accurate, maybe getting more accurate after certain races and completely unknown at the start of the season (pre season testing)..The perfect "tech tree" for me would be no tech tree at all but just complete freedom of developing whatever you want, generally smaller steps not the current - getting 2-3seconds faster within one season when IRL its more like about 1 second or less.. So the upgrades should be smaller, for the AI a bit more difficult though but they should just pick random upgrades, higher chances on parts they are lacking at in comparison to others or giving then premade layouts like - more downforce for half a season, less drag, better chassis or whatever, plenty of options to go about it, making it more realistic yet IMO not less fun and its not really realistic that you have to do a DRS upgrade in order to do another front wing upgrade haha so yeah forced developments are definitely bad and there are better ways to go about it.. And dont get me started about a speedtrap chart😂

That's why I believe this is different from the FIFA content creators. While in FIFA they don't really care about the career mode, because of how much they get from UT, in F1 I would say the majority will always prefer the career mode/MyTeam. I don't really remember if any content creator from FIFA ever complained about the lack of career mode changes. It is in fact important that this type of creators speak like aarava did today, because us, regular players, will not be listened in that way. Even though aarava is sometimes criticized because of his type of videos, and in the last 2 games "milking" EA, he always talked about changes that the game should take in the future. More people need to talk like him.

I thought they have 2 teams working in parallel 1 team does 2019-2021-2023 game, and the other team does 2020-2022-2024 and time odd make story mode and the single mode with reward and team even does my team my career stuff
so if you want new stuff for my career, you need to wait 2024
as if you wanted more story mode you didn't get anything new in 2023
Complaining in the way he does seems silly. If you want only stuff on career mode, buy it every 2 years (they actually make you save money!)
you only buy it for the story mode buy it every 2 years

@pekish79 They do have two teams, but it would not make any sense to expect 2 different games, every two different years. A full game should have every game mode kind of updated. The base of every F1 game since the start is the career mode. Killing it, would be killing the game. I'm not against the F1 World, just like aarava said, for me is not much fun, but I get that there are people who will enjoy it, but they should not just turn their attention to a single game mode and forget the most important one.

Dude what u sayed is not excuse for 3 years in a row they doing nothing new with the my carrer mode... They're just COPY/PASTE... But EA once again only caring about a "mode" for EA precious Micro-Transactions and somehow some "minor" upgrade to the handling... Period...

@PytotS23 They're using these shiny new game modes to attract attentions, and uses it to test the water, slowly turning the series into something similar to its mobile counterpart, where after us getting accustomed to it, they could then start implementing microtransaction in the future.

Two birds with one stone.

It’s good to see content creators calling out issues especially with Career modes. But. as ever Aarava waits for others to criticise first before he posts his thoughts. That said I doagree with everything he said👍😁

None of the popular YouTubers including Jarno seem to be bothering with F1 World., With them all back doing MyTeam or Career content along with braking point videos.

All this talk about career/my team is missing the point. The fundamentals havent been changed in years, track surface, weather, tyres essential remain untouched.
A good example of what I mean is rather than track surface when you start to get the static drops appear on the car (been like this for years) is best time to switch to inters. Why is there static rain drops on the car at 200mph+?
If you codies/ea team members read this....sort out the fundamentals of what F1 is before trying to do the gimmicky stuff that your marketing department tries to hype and sell to the uninformed. I'm not talking about making the game a "sim" just getting the racing environment right so that there is lots of variation in races due to track surfaces, weather etc.
If its not too late in the 2024 dev process make this a focus point because once done correctly you wont have to do much to it in the following years.

simply because they have no competition and therefore do not risk losing the goose that lays the golden eggs. it's also because they don't have innovative ideas that they haven't understood that the future is online championships with crossplay and instead of proitting themselves into the future by bringing players to if they focus on brakingpoint it's the career mode that interests streamers little to real racing players. the career mode for that slice of players but you should focus on that is the online stop...

Coming from 21 the biggest changes I have seen so far is that if I want a different colour t-shirt I have to cough up real money and there's 0 customisation items in the free podium pass.
This stuff is more in your face in the game than ever.
I get a response is that this stuff doesn't matter but it is a part of the game just completely walled off from a casual playthrough.
It's not the biggest issue the game has but boy is it an eye opener.
