Accessibility issue: DRS/ERS interface being difficult to understand
Rephrased/repost of playtesting thread as the issues are not resolved.
The DRS and ERS HUD elements needs to be improved, it is in its current state difficult to know what you have enabled or disabled due to the two elements essentially blend together, not only is it hard to interpret, it also incurs an extra cognitive load which is far from optimal during racing.
There's barely any difference between the DRS being enabled and disabled (while being eligible to activate it inside a DRS zone).
The overtake status is too close to the ERS status bar, essentially becoming one element since both are yellow. (This is even worse when at high ERS charge).
The colors are a too close to each other, making it very difficult to know which combination of settings you have enabled without directly looking at the different HUD elements as you only see a "colored blob" in the corner of your eyes.
One solution could be moving the sections further away from each other, create solid elements instead of the striped/gradient design that is being used at the moment.
Seems like not enough focus has been made to ensure that everyone can enjoy the game.
Please consider cleaning up and de-clutter the UI and make it clear and legible.
F1 22 and previous iteration had the DRS and ERS status isolated and in its own separate spaces and this is quite a regression in terms of accessibility and should be taken seriously.
Please, before you comment and saying that everything is fine, please remember that not everyone has flawless eye sight or color vision.
