AI difficulty Quali vs Race

Making another thread on this topic from my own personal experience as this NEEDS to be addressed after 3 games of same issue getting WORSE.

Last year the AI speed from track to track on same difficulty setting was bad, and the removal of the very simple option to restart a session and adjust the difficulty setting turned the issue from an annoyance to almost game breaking.

This year the track to track issue still exists, possibly slightly less so. However, the balance between quali and race is now APPALLING!

I'm pretty compatent at these games through sheer time spent playing and go out of my way to not "exploit" the game when we all know how to. But when I'm driving with no assists, a controller, using the games recommended setups, avoiding exploiting the track limits or any other unfair or unrealistic "game advantage", I have to decrease the difficulty for the race by a minimum of 6 or 7 levels from qualifying in order not to have every car and their mum drive past like I'm standing still, something is seriously wrong.

I've done 5 races of driver career and now 3 of my team (full weekends, full session lengths). I had to stop the driver career as in a barely midfield mclaren Lando is both qualifying and FINISHING at the front, which is just stupid. And now in my team, with the 2nd worst car on the grid, I can make Q3 without too much trouble on anything under 103/104, but have to then race on 96/97 to even have a chance of staying in the points, it's ridiculous.

Please EA, just do 2 very simple things. 1) Give the AI a buff in quali, or a slight nerf in races to balance them out. & 2) GIVE US BACK THE AI SETTING ADJUST OPTION AT START OF SESSIONS!!!!!
