Forum Discussion
What baffles me the most is that this issue isn't even listed in the official issue tracker.
@CM_TGK Please have this issue investigated.
It's being discussed here on Answers HQ, as well as on Steam, and Reddit.

@fahdriyamiYes this is Baffling there is no mention. F1 22 Looked way better in VR using less Resources. F1 23 looks not too good in VR and using more resources and less Frame Rates, also the best thing in 22 for VR was opencomposite and XR tool , which doesn't work in 23. ☹️ Besides that 1 major issue , for me Everything else in 23 is much better than 22.
- void_snw3 years agoRising Scout@fahdriyami I would be surprised if nobody has brought this up to them, or if nobody noticed while making the game, or while playtesting it. It might just be "as intended" - though that would be terrible. Let's hope we get some visibility on this.

Yeah, I hope it is just the 'list isn't extensive' reason why it's not coming up.
The game itself is great, even if I wish for career mode to be more in depth after so long with little changes. Once the blurring is sorted I'm ready to leave a positive review on Steam, I just hope it does not take too long : (

For those who are experiencing this, could you test to set depthOfField to "false" in the postprocess key in hardware_settings_config.xml and see if that improves things.

@dotazuredDoes nothing to fix this. That's part of what I meant by any options in the config file.

Still not even an acknowledgement of the issue from EA.
Typical.
