Be sure to check the Thrustmaster Firmware Updater program, ensure that the wheelbase is on v.34

Yes, i am using the ps version of the t300 rs gt and i already have updated drivers and firmware. I just wonder how it is possible that the pedals work with usb but not with rj12. If the game had no ffb bug where the ffb stops randomly while playing online races when t300 rs gt and pedals are seperately connected to pc, everything would be fine.

Should be more reliable with RJ-12. Yes, it's a suggestion based on the fact that USB connected pedals give issues.
People use USB claiming the resolution is higher. Hint: game has 0-100 brake values based on RAW input. Makes absolutely no difference, but a million internet twits will tell you they feel the difference. 7-bit resolution (128 values) would be enough.
the problem is that at least online races are unplayable for me at the moment. Either i play with rj12 and my brakes don't work or i play with usb and the force feedback of the car switches off from time to time

Just one question....
You do disconnect the USB when using RJ-12? I believe it can damage the wheelbase if you have both connectors connected at the same time.

It’s custom. But probably blown something in the wheelbase or the pedal circuit board.
Try the T3PA that comes with the RS set?
It works with the t3pa so it seems to be a problem with the pedal circuit board
