I know that the braking markers are meant to represent the real life ones, but in real life the drivers have better vision as they are seeing the track in first person view, not through a screen. The main thing is not even their size, but the fact that they are so hard to spot with all their surroundings, they just melt into it.
It would be gamechanging if there was an option to choose bigger boards, or a way to make them stood out more from their surroundings, making them more visible when a player approaches a braking zone.
Same with me. Cockpit mode and don’t want to use the racing line. Mostly for brake boards that are attached to the barriers and are usually small . It seems to me it’s a little better with motion blur off but still hard to see.

While I agree that brake markers are a pain to see when they morph into the scenery (seems more so in this game than past ones), have you tried turning down your FOV? It makes them slightly larger and slows down the sense of speed so they're easier to catch. In a relatively restrictive cockpit view where you should have mapped your "look left/right" anyway since IRL drivers turn their whole heads to see their side mirrors, it might be worth a shot to minimize your FOV as much as you dare.

Hi there, do you know of a fov calculator for f1 23? I was -19 last year but it’s different this year and I’ve only played about 6 hours or so and have just been using the default for now. It did help last year but I have some vision issues and being able to make the boards larger would help me a lot.

Thanks for the suggestion! I will have a look at that.
