Bug Ps5 - Very low Fog quality on Qatar and Singapore

Product: F1 23
Platform:PlayStation 5
Please specify your platform model. Sony PlayStation 5
Summarize your bug When racing on Realistic race time at Qatar and Singapore, you see very low quality Fog in the distance. On Qatar you can see it on the straight, corners etc On Singapore only on the last corner before start/finish
What is your 16 digit Report Code? MBKR-MKRE-DHEB-BASC
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Ziggo (Netherlands)
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start Grand Prix mode on Dry and use realistic session time on F1 cars. You can see it on Qualifying and race
What happens when the bug occurs? The fog is very low quality, pixels shifting. Very distracting when driving
What do you expect to see? Good quality fog, so it does not distract when racing

On Qatar it is everywere, corners, straight etc.

On Singapore I did notice it in the last corner only.

It is important to use the Realistic session start time and F1 cars

This issue was on patch 1.04, 1.06 and still on 1.07

    @Euphonic88 Yeah. Problem is we are not privy to what the situation is. I hope the devs do care. Is it because they are given limited time and resources to fix things🤷🏻‍♂️. Which is common industry practice on yearly released games. So that doesn’t surprise me. I’ve always liked Codemasters so I hope it’s not a case of lack of care and/or laziness. It’s hard being a legit fanMan when I now expect bugs having bugs. It’s frustrating for sure

    I think this issue has been forgotten, but it still exists. You guys should do something with the volumetric fog, since it is still very pixelated in night races.

    This bug report was made in July 2023 just after the game was released..we are now at patch 1.17 and 5 months later. Still not looked at or fixed.

    Makes me wonder if it really is worth it to make bug reports to help fixed issues...

    Does EA_Codemasters even care???

    Be assured the people here have and will continue to pull hard for information and highlight  what we can. 

    Have to say it’s disappointing to see the regressions of even fixed issues in each new game. Or the continued appearance of unaddressed issues and lack of progress on known issues between iterations. 

    PS issues may also involve Sony. But it’s not an excuse, just something to consider.
