Hey, @ivun3! What do you mean by a "slight delay"? The animation takes a bit to start, or the virtual wheel rotates too slowly for the input you want?
If the former, that should be looked into, but does not necessarily mean that the game isn't registering your input correctly. We could rule that out with a bit of telemetry but that would take you half an hour to set up if you're not have a telemetry app already.
If it's the latter, than indeed you should be looking into tweaking or disabling the steering assists for controllers.

Hi, yes.
For example, if I make a steering adjustment on the thumbstick from A to B. the game steering moves from A to B. It doesn't instantly follow my input, like throttle and brake does.
Many sim games have this steering speed/filter/delay as optional and changable. So I assume there is some kind of steering attribute in game files that control how fast the steering responds to my gamepad thumbstick. Maybe because it looks more realistic to have the steering move from A to B instead of instantly popping to driving input.
P. S. thumbstick has 360 degree rotational capacity. maybe a good idea for a new type of optional steering mode.

Just in case you have connections to EA or codemasters, 360 degree rotational capacity of the left thumbstick is way more important of a subject. I've been trying to reach developers for years regarding this innovation. It should get some attention. I am perplexed that still no sim racing game developer has realised the 360 degree rotational capacity of the left thumbstick.

@ivun3I imagine they have as it’s not implemented in any racing game I can only imagine it doesn’t work how you hope it would.

I mean... I have already been playing racing games with the top half 180 degrees steering capacity of the left thumbstick, for my entire life, and it works great.
Why not add the bottom 180 aswell? or 170. Double the accuracy and freedom.
