Car steers towards the right randomly
The car randomly steers towards the right randomly. Any mode. This problem has just started. Everything was fine before

Its a new controller and now the steering has started towards the left randomly. Its surely the game
I’ve seen a few posts with people having strange controller behaviour. Random steering or erratic FFB and. I’ve just crashed out of Mexico cause no matter what I changed ot tried it was taking me most off the main straight to straighten the car. Slightest touch of the left stick and car tried doing 90 degree turns. Then the slow corners felt like I was trying to turn the Titanic. Changes were made in last page to add a truforce slide adjustment for Logitech. Maybe it’s interfering with FFB for some 🤷🏻♂️
I started getting weird behaviour since the patch, like the game would randomly take over control of my car for a brief moment, then hand control back. Mostly happened while braking, suddenly rolling straight and not even able to turn the wheels for a couple of seconds, then being able to again. Wasn't locking up, it was different to that - if it was locking up the wheels, I still would've been able to turn the wheels. They were just straight and non-responsive.
Also had it happen after a collision, car started going off into some more cars by itself before I was able to control it again. Utterly bizarre, like the car was possessed.
Like I said, only started happening yesterday, if it was my controller it would be a massive coincidence, but I'm sure it's not. Hasn't been happening with anything else. I'm wondering if it's some weird glitch with an assist. I don't use assists, but knowing this game now, anything could be happening!
- @s00zster Yeah sounds similar to what I had. EA have sent this thread over to Codemasters and a note that there are various posts from people whose wheels and pads have started to exhibit demonic tendencies.
I was thinking maybe they found the exiting slow corners issue and in what’s now infamous behaviour. Fixed it by breaking everything else 😂

So to clarify, this is happening in every mode and only since patch 1.12 on Monday but so far only on controller?
Since the settings have unfortunately been reset with the patch, can you please make sure to double-check your steering assist settings?

Same here. But i think it’s in you server. Deleted the whole game and all safe date. Stil there then I bought it on my xbox and i have the same ea account on that. First race pulled to the right
