Communicating with online services error all the time

Product: F1 23

Platform: PC

Please specify your platform model: Steam on PC

Summarize your bug: At any point, in any menu (F1 world, career, time trial etc) the game will show 'communicating with online services', sometimes for 1-3 seconds, sometimes up to 40 or so seconds then give an error code. I have tried searching and looking for the error codes to no avail.

This only happens in F1 23. All other games, devices or services cabled or wirelessly works flawlessly.

I have tried verifying files, completely reinstalling the game, restarted router.

Which area is the bug/glitch in? Singleplayer menus like career, F1 world, TimeTrial (have not tried multiplayer menus yet).


Did you have cross-play enabled? Yes


Steps:

How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure. I have not encountered this problem up until the most recent patch. For me its showing when browsing menus, clicking on random items, dismantling F1 items, browsing TT times/setups etc etc.


What happens when the bug occurs? When loading any menus or clicking on items in for example F1 world, the "communicating with online services" may pop up. Sometimes it lasts 1-3 seconds and its fine. Sometimes anywhere from 10-40 seconds before an error code pops up.

What do you expect to see?  No error codes and less laggy menus.

    Summarize your bug Some errors, such as 1008:H, pop up in fullscreen while driving and do not pause the game. It happens in both singleplayer and multiplayer.

    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game while there are connectivity issues. Some errors will pop up in fullscreen while driving and will not pause the game. See the attached demo screenshot(s) / video(s) for reference. The clip is from F1 22 as I did not manage to record it in F1 23, but the behaviour is the same.
    What happens when the bug occurs? An error message pops up in fullscreen while driving and it does not pause the game.
    What do you expect to see? Error messages should not pop up in fullscreen while driving or should at least pause the game.
