I just got billed twice in one order for the Pre Order. There is no Cart in the EA app und its not possible to buy a game twice, so how does this works. 72,89 on Paypal and legit 5s later again 72,89

Hey @nilshoefte, Just to clarify further, it looks like this is something the team has seen happen on a few occasions and they're working to get it fixed up for everyone affected. It looks like this was mentioned in the most recent chat you had, but just to be clear, this will be refunded automatically once they've corrected that issue, so please keep an eye out on your order history for that to update. Hey @nilshoefte,

does the notification within PayPal says completed / outstanding or awaiting?
I remember some similar behavior some time ago with Origin, where one of the Paypal transactions are duplicated but never charged.

Please let me know how that looks for you atm 🙂

@EA_rephii Yes I know this issue and encountered it multiple times, but this time it says for both transactions "complete" and no "pending" for one like usual on paypal

And your bank account has been double charged as well?

@EA_rephii Cannot say, because it needs on working day, but on paypal side it looks like it. It says for both
"payment by direct debit" in german, dont know if this is the correct translation xD

I went on a support chat for this issue and got it resolved, took a little explaining but they saw the double order and refunded one of them. Hopefully the payment will go through and i will keep my game, if not i am going to raise a dispute with my bank. Hope this helps!

@hushhmode Oh man kinda jealous tbh, im idk in my 6th round with support and the only thing they refounded is the FREE Ea play Trial

@nilshoefte Some Banks put a hold on payment till they are sure the account holder made the request to help stop fraud.
My whole account was shut down yesterday because of this...Im in the US.
Check your account when ya get the chance....paypal probably had to run it twice.

@nilshoefte damn. Def took some explaining and i havent seen any change in my bank, but they said it would take 7-10 days for it to come through. I would keep trying, make sure you specify what game and give an order number if they still get it wrong
