For some reason my ERS keeps switching on and off. No matter what I change it always keeps doing this. I tried reinstall, verify, changing button, and even changing wheels. It’s like someone spamming off and on the ERS button.

No I’m on PC. I have it on Steam and it’s on medium graphics.
That sounds like it is on auto-deploy.

I've never had this issue using performance mode on PS5, this year or in previous years. I don't believe it's a universally known bug.
@n4tureee this sounds like one of two things to me. Either as @Bauersome suggests you've accidentally got auto-ERS selected, or it might be a button mapping duplication where a button you're pressing for another reason is also activating/deactivating ERS.
