@Meza994Where have I suggested that Raphii is responsible for the coding of this game?
They are a "Community Manager" right? Seems to me like that job would at least be one of the people who could actually communicate some kind of remorse for the outcome of the game.
As I said in my other post you took exception to: ANYONE at EA could come here and offer a simple apology. NONE of them have done so.
Not Raphii. Not any other EA-branded name here. Nobody.Edit: @Ultrasonic_77 Multiple companies within the past handful of years have released huge public statements about their failure to deliver a quality product. Cyberpunk 2077 and LotR: Gollum come to mind immediately. That's certainly one extreme of the spectrum in issuing an apology, but we don't even get the complete opposite end of just a simple "We know we've let you down and we'll do better."
It doesn't have to be on twitter. It doesn't have to be a press conference. Failing to express the sentiment at all? Not ok.

@Ultrasonic_77They apologised for Gollum and cyber punk.
Agree with everything else you saidI don't know about Gollum, but the Cyber Punk case was also associated with mass refunds and removal from sale. F1 23 is also not anywhere close to as broken as Cyber Punk was.
@Trekari Still the same, screaming at the cashier for a product thats gotten more expensive.. Scream at Codemasters for doing it bad, EA is a mere publisher
But in the end @Ultrasonic_77 is right with what he says but do as you feel is right
@Ultrasonic_77If you don't know about Gollum, I suggest staying blissfully ignorant of it at all costs. :D
It was awful. Bad enough that Daedalic Entertainment closed their development studio entirely. Metacritic score of 39/100 for PC. Likely headed to a 'Worst Game of the Year" award, although Redfall is making a strong argument for itself too.@Meza994 You should try reading my comments and then responding. I don't know how many times I have to express you why I tagged Raphii. (Who again is a CM - not a 'cashier.') You also need to work on your analogies.
Where is the "Codemaster" place I'm supposed to direct my comments to? Last I checked, this was the F1 23 forum.
- @Meza994 In a perfect world we would all have infinite patience but I get that people are angry. And he will never have the chance to directly speak to the people responsible.
In an unrelated remark:
Has anyone found that "Pit Release Assist" gives back control of the car too late to be making Turn 1 without locking tyres up (for example, in Bahrain)? Happened with both Hard and Medium tyres.@Trekari I read yours right, i just dont see his blame in anything, CM in this case is not anything close to the he should have to get all the blame by angry players not getting what they want.. And i dont care if you dont understand my analogies
You could have just written it to an actual Codemasters employee but again do as you see fit, if you feel like this will change things do it..
@DinaatioSure i can understand people being annoyed but just raging senselessly is not gonna fix things, but thats just my view 🙂
- ScarDuck142 years agoLegend@Trekari I always keep my finger on the brake before it releases you. So far I’ve not had issue.
- @ScarDuck14 I do the same with my pedals, but yesterday I missed T1 every time because the car just wouldn't slow down and rotate.
It actually felt like FFB/controls were not operating at 100% right away. By T2 and T3 everything felt appropriate. There isn't really any feedback I can feel when the tyres lock up, so I can't rule that out as a culprit, particularly with new tyres coming out of the pits.
I'd disable Pit Release Assist, except that I use those so I have time to take a quick drink during stops.
