The internet is littered with problems with steering wheels not working, FFB not working. TBH the only person I am mad at is myself, allowing myself to be hoodwinked by this sham of a company - AGAIN.

I think It does make sense to have tried to rebalance F1 World, in that one reason it's ignored by many is for them it's far too easy. If they managed to sort this there might then be more interest. I'm with you on being confused/frustrated as to why the option to just adjust the AI level wasn't added instead though. I'm sure there must be some reason this isn't as straightforward as it seems but it just feels like the real fix that is needed.

It's been almost two full months since release that a large percentage of your customers can't use FFB on their products.
It's been two years since VR was 'implemented' in such a way as to be nearly unusable.
Volumetric fog continues to make night races unplayable (fun fact, Bahrain at night was literally the FIRST RACE of F1 23, immediately showing this problem, and you people released the game anyway?). I'll say it again for those who need to hear it a second time: THE FIRST RACING EXPERIENCE OF THE GAME SHOWCASES THIS BUG.
Red flags are still broken.
Safety cars are still broken.
You want to know why your sales are down year after year? It's because you're incompetent. You advertise new features that don't even work, and clearly don't do any testing of your own product before releasing it.
Not once has anyone from EA apologized for the state of the game. People who value integrity would've delayed the game in the first place. People who simply have integrity would've at least apologized.
You did neither.
I look forward to watching your sales numbers plummet until the series has to be canceled and the license goes to someone who actually cares about F1, and their customers.
Edit: One more thing - you took two weeks to fix the cockpit camera bug that YOU CAUSED. Other gaming companies would have shown respect to their customers by immediately implementing a hotfix patch to fix their own screwup, but not our good ol' EA buddies! Nothing lights a fire under your backsides. Not broken FFB, not bugs your own incompetence caused, not major "new" features that don't work.
The only timeline you pay any attention to is your own convenience. To hell with those fools who actually pay your salary, eh! Those pesky customers should be grateful they get anything at all, am I right?!
This sums it up very well.
It's awful. Not once was there an apology to the huge playerbase not being able to play for 2 months. They just don't care. They got the money and that's all they want anyway.
I sincerely hope the sales continue to plummet and they get what they deserve.
For the fact this is a racing game, it's incredible that all these FFB issues are still around and simply won't be patched.
At least have the decency to offer refunds to those who are screwed by all these issues or offer an apology.
We know that EA has never cared about their customers. F1 is a new low tho. [Edited]
Total agree!
EA, you have to wake up from your dream world, and fixing every bug!!!
- @RobbyJr24 They are about to lose this one up if they don’t wake up for real! I never seen so much but so much community rage in one single title! Just unbelievable F1 23 made community lose the plot!
Like I said all the issues above are and need to be fixed and worked hard! Also giving us community sounds we actually want to hear! Giving us some nice challenges that unlock us possibility let’s say use real drivers helmets and suits but with our faces or character, like they did helmet of Max from Miami race! Same can be done with helmets and unique designs let’s say as unlockble content! Car liveries and more achievements and making game interesting! Making this game worth to play! But with most bugs fixes as possible to enjoy! Also more chassis to be able to chose from as now we have base chassi of f1 for our online races why not to make chassi upgradable or we could have let’s say 3 type of chassis and we could chose or modify parts that actually do reflect in game and also reflect performance and gains not only visual but on data! I know is possible! There is so much can be given and achieved if EA pull their head from their rear end and start to act or this will end up as big failure of 2023!
I mean the design and stickers we have on cars available for customisation is big fail every year same thing helmets only one variant with different designs nothing special or interesting! are same or worse than this dno! We are forced to use mods that we can’t even then play online! But nevertheless those mods are by mile better than what we are given! We should be able to have diferent helmets that actually used in f1 by pilots, and as said above give us ability to unlock and gain helmets special liveries of pilots of specific races and historical helmets! Make some DLC’s as content! Engage with community listen us and your audio producer and designer must be fired! The game sounds just boring and from all the sounds best so far was the pilot in helmet sounds very nice! But what about rest!? Well list can just go on… What's worse for me is that Steam ,for example, is sitting on a "Very Positive" review score.
Most of the positive reviews, if not all, are from online 5 "lappers" who don't even experience the full game, or even half of it!No Safety Cars, no pit stops, no Red Flags, no tyre strategies, no nothing!
The only thing they have to say is that the handling is better and that's because last year's traction was atrocious and super unrealistic for a game that's not even a real SIM !
EA destroyed the franchise and is throwing the Codemasters name to the mud. I have no hopes this franchise will ever be good again while it's under EA's wing.
- @ArkaniaDante I wouldnt put the blame solely to EA.. Codemasters have done pretty bad games before like 2014 and as a lot of you like to point out there are bugs in the game since 2020 and before.. Those were the years EA had nothing to do with it and still Codemasters didnt fix them
- ScarDuck142 years agoLegend@Meza994 Not to mention they have never been good at fixing bugs. And this year there are just so many bugs
Just frustrating as hell how they can get so close to a great game and fail so badly
@s00zster wrote:The F1 World tech changes has improved nothing. Granted, I'm now 4 seconds a lap faster than the AI instead of 6, but that's it. Shove the tech modifier up and you end up with noobs in rocket ships. Fast in straight lines but can't handle a fight. Only played it for 5 minutes and the problems were instantly visible, how the testers didn't notices this beggars belief. New year, same old story.
Leaving the AI difficulty locked at 35% is what's holding the whole feature back. I can't believe it's just being left that way.
Edit: It just feels like, for the past few years, when there's a fix needed, the minimum amount of effort possible is put into it, corners are cut, compromises are made, and it becomes just surface-level, papering over the cracks.
"But for this to work properly, you need to fix this aswell"
"Nah, just do this and leave it. It'll take too much time and effort, need to work on the eSports model anyway. Besides, this game is only for casuals now, they won't notice."
That's how it feels.
Sorry mate I only played for 5min it is for the children I am afraid but it is not a serious game.

Agreed
i have to say it’s funny how myself is stating above for couple of years already, since the old CM forum days, and I only got a lot of hate and disrespect in the days from a lot of users.
FINALLY people’s eyes start opening to what I’ve been screaming for years.
Took y’all long enough.
problem is:
EA/CM don’t care. As long as there’s no purge and cleanup on high management level, starting with Lee Mather who lies every year again how they listen to their community (which they clearly do not)
And i can keep on going for hours, but been there, done that.
