Summarize your bug F1 23 PC game constantly crashing
What is your 16 digit Report Code? XHXT-THAM-MRXA-JHTE
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Virgin Media
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Every single Grand Prix I try in F1 World results in the game crashing during the race. Sometimes as soon as the race starts (after 5-10 seconds) and other times a little later in, maybe 1 or 2 laps in. This is every single race on my PC. I have tried the same on my SteamDeck and I managed to finish a 5 lap race first time.
What happens when the bug occurs? The audio glitches for a second and the screen goes black and then the game just kicks me out to the computer desktop. No error or anything. I have Steam open and the "X STOP" button takes a second or two and reverts back to the "> PLAY" button.
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to be more stable. I literally have not been able to play the game for more than 3-4 minutes.
Attached is a DxDiag file.
I have read various forums and tried all the steps, updating my bios, all firmware, drivers, verified the integrity of my game files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, tried various graphics settings in the game such as disabling v-sync, changing quality to low and medium and various other settings, but nothing seems to work.
Please read this thread and try.
Thanks for the feedback, but looking at the thread you linked was related to Sonic Studio" which I do not have installed on my system.
Any other thoughts?

Not sure if this will resolve your issue, but I seem to have a bit of a win with my system. I read on another forum that another user had luck by disabling all other audio devices, other than the one in use. On my PC running Windows 11, I had various audio devices and monitors that presented themselves as audio devices, so I disabled all of them except for the actual device I am outputting audio on. Hey presto, I have been able to run the game without any crashes for 3 or 4 F1 World GPs.
I will try again tomorrow, just in case this was a fluke, but fingers crossed.
Just a couple of other steps I took, which I don't believe in the end made any difference, but just in case, I also had F1 22 on my PC, so I uninstalled that (F1 23 still crashed after this point) and I also uninstalled and reinstalled F1 23 (I switched off all audio devices while F1 23 was downloading).
Hope this helps someone with their issues.
