- BeatdownRacing2 years agoNew Vanguard@Twigs-N-Dat I've started running into a similar issue. PC completely shuts down while playing F1 23. Did you manage to find what was causing this?

Nope, no luck. PC still shutdowns. Some times it happens while racing, before warm up lap, in practice mode, etc. The worst thing about it is that it corrupts my gamers profile and Inhave recreate every time. I have setup everything according to this:
You can set XMP and Resize BAR, you should enable Virtualisation and the fTPM. Provided you are using a MCT for Windows, it will not bypass the requirements.
I also went down to a single monitor 2560x1440, but I still have the same problem.
Nvidia released an update to their drivers, and after hoping for a resolution, nope, it is still crashing. I guess I’ll have to stick to F1 2021 which plays fine.
BTW, my copy of F1 2023 is thru the EA app and not Steam.

Update to share: I followed the suggestion of disabling all sound output devices before starting the game and it is now working OK. I went to the device manager and disabled all audio output devices except for the one connected to my amp.
i have been able to complete a career GP with a practice session, qualy, and race. It was a short 5 lap race, but it worked.
happy for now, but this game needs some serious work.
Time to test my wheel and pedals and last but not least, test it on VR. Can’t wait.

Well guys, short lived success. Moved on to my second GP, Australia, and it crashed right before qualy. Is there a formal way to complain about these issues? Man, I’ve never had such a hard time playing a game, ever. Disabling the sound seems to help, but there are other issues obviously.
