F1 23 crashed PC now steering input locked to 100

Product: F1 23
Platform:PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
Summarize your bug The Game crashed my PC while I was taking a right corner, and now my steering input is constantly locked to 100 in neutral position. Steering fully left only returns the game input to 0. This happens over multiple input methods tried, my Logitech G923 as well as for my keyboard.
What is your 16 digit Report Code?
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Telecom
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Crash game in a right steering corner, find input permanently locked to that state in neutral steering position.
What happens when the bug occurs? As you can see in the attached Pictures, the Logitech g923 is correctly calibrated in Logitech gHub and is working as intended in f1 2020. In f1 23 however, the wheel as well as my Keyboard report a steering input of 100 without pressing any buttons or turning the wheel. Driving in the game leads to instantly crashing into the next wall.
What do you expect to see? Accurate steering input that matches the Button presses.

BUILD:

Running the Game on Steam

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (Newest Chipset Driver)

AMD Radeon Rx 6800 (Newest AMD recommended Driver)

MSI B450 Carbon Max Pro Wi-Fi (newest BIOS)

16 GB DDR4 3600 MHz (XMP enabled)

Logitech Superlight Pro X (newest Firmware)

Wooting 60HE (newest Firmware, analogue SDK disabled game doesn't start otherwise)

Logitech G923 (newest Firmware)

Had absolutely no issues before the crash, couldn't find a fix. Hope you can help.

Things I've tried:

— Windows Updates all installed

— Made sure all Drivers are up-to-date

— Restarted PC, as well as in clean boot

— Unplugged my Input devices Wheel and Keyboard and plugged back in

— Deleted Hardware config

— Verified integrity of game files

— Changed buttons for steering in game

    Thank you for your help.

As the wheel was working fine in every other game, and the problem persisted with any controll, I was quite sure it didn't have anything to do with the wheel itself.

--- >What solved it was like you suggested deleting every custom control scheme and restarting the game.

Just for future reference if anyone runs into a similar issue.

  • - reinstalling the game did not fix the issue

    - starting the game with the wheel already turned did not fix the issue

    - starting the game without any controlls plugged in and only plugging in the keyboard after loading into the game did not fix the issue

I'm quite baffled by this Bug

    Try this. Disconnect wheel.

Go into game and delete custom control scheme.

    Uninstall GHub. Reboot.

Run this. (It's hosted on my personal Dropbox) Reboot.

Delete the hardware_settings_config.xml and verify Steam files.

Install GHub connecting wheel when prompted and restarting, etc.

    Test wheel operation in GHub.

Launch game. Test calibration in default scheme.

Create custom scheme if all is well.

    Play.
