F1 23 Crashes on launch every time!
So this was my first time launching F1 23 since I had just got it off of gamepass and I wanted to give it a go especially since I had been hearing nothing but negative about F1 24. However, every time I launch the game, it goes into a windowed mode which is out of focus. On a normal situation, this is no problem, just click on the window to refocus right? Apparently not, this game hates it if I move the mouse anywhere but the game screen. Upon attempting to refocus the game window, it freezes for a few seconds before straight up crashing. It does the same thing if i try to alt tab.
Diagnostic steps I already took without success :
- Running the game in different display modes via the config file since ingame settings are not accessible.
- Double checking that DLSS didnt somehow turn on even though I have an AMD GPU.
- Running the game as admin.
Running the game as admin removed the crashing upon attempting to refocus, but after a while I just got a blank grey screen with the sounds of cars driving in the background until the window just closed itself and the game crashed. I saw no error codes for anything upto this point.
My specs are :
Intel Core i5-13600k
AMD Radeon 7900XT
32 GB DDR4
The game is stored on an SSD
Is anyone else facing this issue?
